Cathedral Mountain Lodge offers a unique summer experience for people with energy and enthusiasm. The lodge is in Yoho National Park in the Canadian Rockies near Banff National Park. You will enjoy unlimited hiking, camping, climbing, white water rafting, wildlife watching, and countless other outdoor adventures! We are looking for College or University graduates interested in the outdoors and gaining valuable hospitality experience. We provide excellent training, fun team member activities, and opportunities to participate in our environmental programs. This is an ideal opportunity to live, work, explore and play in Canada’s Rocky Mountain National Parks.
We are currently recruiting for the position of Line Cook. The Line Cook is part of the Cathedral Mountain food & beverage team responsible for food and guest service in the dining room, patios and Team Member meals. Main duties include preparing and cooking meals, communicating requirements / concerns to Executive Chef and maintaining a positive team oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
* minimum 1 yr culinary experience,
* previous hotel experience an asset,
* Food Safe certificate and knowledge of health issues,
* CPR and First Aid Certificate is an asset,
* must have excellent people skills with a positive & Upbeat personality,
* second language is an asset.
* Please Note: In order to provide our guests with an exceptional and consistent level of service, we require team members that will commit to our lodge for the entire season late May – early October.
