We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, creative, Hands-On RESTAURANT CHEF
This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented Hands-On RESTAURANT CHEF to lead the kitchen in a small, upscale, trend-conscious restaurant in the Cayman Islands. This waterfront property is Grand Cayman's newest restaurant offering: an upscale and chic atmosphere with elegant open air dining.

Key Objective and Role:
The Restaurant Chef in charge of all things related to the kitchen: including menu creation, plating design, ordering (including finding the best supplier), responsible for stocktaking checks, kitchen staff hiring, scheduling, and payroll of entire kitchen staff.

The Restaurant Chef is accountable for all activities in the kitchen and food production including development, training and motivation of the kitchen team, a crew of approximately 5. Also dealing with customer and staff related issues, and liaison with the front of the house.

The Restaurant Chef is also responsible for discussing future strategies, any special holiday catering: such as weddings, banqueting, Christmas, etc.
Job Requirements: The ideal candidate has experience in upscale casual or fine dining full-service restaurant, must be able to lead a small team, and is well organized. The candidate should possess excellent culinary skills and people skills and be knowledgeable of proper food production standards.
